No one should go hungry….
Rent, electricity, gas, medicine or food… which could you live without? Many of our neighbors are faced with that question every day. The Food Pantry is able to help by providing food and healthcare products to Red Hook school district residents who are struggling, but we need your help.
The Food Pantry is open each Sunday for two hours and has seen an increase of 137% since 2018. We are working hard to provide nutritious food to our neighbors.
Although we receive many donations of food items, each month we spend approximately $2,000.000 to purchase food to fill our pantry shelves and freezers. We do receive a grant from the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York and our group “Hand to Mouth Weavers” will contribute an additional $1,000.00. Needless to say, we have a long way to go. We hope we can count on you.
Because we are a volunteer organization, you can be assured that 100% of your gift is used to purchase food. Thank you for your support.
